Must be nominated for the Queen’s Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Award Value- $12,000 up to 4 years (total $48,000)

Bank of Montreal Award

This Scholarship will be awarded to the academically excellent students who took admission in a full-time first-year undergraduate program at any department of Queen’s University.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have gained 90% marks in their high school grades.

Applicants should be nominated by their high schools.

Candidates should demonstrate creative thinking and leadership qualities.

Must demonstrate financial need

Award Value- $10,000 up to 4 years (total $40,000)

Robert & Eva (Bertram) Cole Canadian Bursary

This bursary will be awarded to the financially needy students who took admission in a full-time first-year undergraduate program in the Faculty of Arts and Science or Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

Award Value- Arts and Science: $8,000 up to 4 years (total $32,000)

Engineering: $15,000 up to 4 years (Total $60,000)

Shad Valley Admission Scholarship

This Scholarship will be awarded to the academically excellent students who took admission in a full-time first-year undergraduate program in the Bachelor of Computer Honours degree program in the School of Computing of the Queen’s University.

Award Value- $2,000

Mike Hamze Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a student entering the third or fourth year in the Civil Engineering program in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science based on academically merit and community involvement.

How to apply- Applicants should submit a letter of application, along with a resume, to the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering.

Ken and Marilyn Laver Scholarship

Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students graduating in Engineering Chemistry or Chemical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science who are proceeding to graduate studies. Preference will be given in the following order to students who are enrolling in one of the following programs at Queen’s University; (i) Masters of Art Conservation, (ii) Masters of Business Administration, (iii) Masters or PhD in Engineering Chemistry or a Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University.

Accenture Scholarship in the Smith School of Business

Awarded to the academically excellent students in the second year in the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business. Preference will be given to students who have had exposure to a consulting-type business or initiative, or who demonstrates a strong interest in consulting. Applicants have to submit a letter of application, with an attached resume for selection by the Commerce Awards Committee.

Jacqueline Allard & Burke Paterson Bursary

Awarded to students who demonstrated financial need and enrolled in any year of a degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Dr Su-Wen Chang Bursary

Awarded to students who demonstrated financial need and enrolled in any year of a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree program with an academic plan in Biochemistry.

Professors For A Better Queen’s Bursary

Awarded to full-time and part-time students who demonstrated financial need and enrolled in any degree plan in Economics, or Computing Science, in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Stevenson Bursary

Awarded to the students who demonstrated financial need and enrolled in any year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business or any year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree program with an academic plan in Economics.

Richard and Janet Lint Family Student Award is also awarded based on the same condition.

E. Stanley and Nadine M. Beacock Scholarship

This Scholarship will be awarded to the academically excellent students who took admission in a first-year undergraduate program in any department of Queen’s University.

Robert and June Brayshaw Scholarship and Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Howitt Entrance Scholarship are also awarded based on the same condition.
