Eligibility Criteria

The Commonwealth Scholarship offers around 800 awards for postgraduate study (Masters and PhD) and professional development each year
with the aim of contributing to the UK’s international development aims and wider overseas interests, supporting excellence in UK higher education, and sustaining the principles of the Commonwealth.

Eligibility Criteria
Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.

- Approved tuition fees.

Gilman-Global Wales Awards – UK Scholarships for International Students
Award holders receive a study grant of up to US$5,000, to be used toward tuition, housing, travel, and related costs for up to one academic year. It is only for undergraduate students in the United States who wish to study in Wales.
Global Wales Fulbright Awards are also for USA Students who pursue any postgraduate degree in UK universities. It covers a Tuition waiver for a Master, plus a living stipend of £13,450.
